'Signs' Title Sequence

This shows the title sequence of the film 'Signs'. It uses 'credits over a blank screen', with odd text fonts and different types of transitions. The light blue background resembles the sky which could be seen to represent mystery and emptiness. The font used is very typical of a horror/thriller film, making it a convention of the genre. The main, popular actors and actresses are presented before the name of the film, because they are likely to attract a wider audience. Actors and actresses with more of a cameo role are presented after the name of the film, as the title is still an important part as viewers will want to know this.
